INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC POLICIES, 2012
Call for Papers
Introduction:
With its rapid integration into world economy, China is increasingly exposed to external economic risks. The recent global financial crisis caused by U.S. sub-prime crisis, as well as the European sovereignty debt crisis, has posed an especially challenging and serious problem to the Chinese researchers on macroeconomic policy decisions. To rise to the challenge and to improve the quality of both applied and theoretical studies on econometric analysis of Chinese economic policies, the Research Center for Quantitative Economics of Jilin University is going to host the International Conference on Econometric Analysis of Economic Policies, in Changchun, China, on July 13 to 16, 2012.
The conference aims to provide a venue for addressing current issues, exploring new methods and theories, and sharing cutting-edge information on the following areas, namely, econometric analysis of economic policies, mechanisms of making such policies, business cycles, theories on China’s financial stability and the practices, and micro-econometric analysis of the policy effects.
Topics and paper submission:
The organizing committee of the conference invites high quality papers in the following areas,
1. Theoretical studies on econometric analysis of economic policies,
2. Mechanisms of economic policy making and business cycles,
3. China’s financial stability: theories and practices,
4. Micro-econometric analysis of the policy effects,
5. Cutting-edge theories in econometrics and empirical studies.
